Growing up is hard. For young people growing up in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods, it’s even harder. We see those struggles every day at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hancock County. For many, completing school with a plan for the future and securing gainful employment can seem far out of reach. That’s why for the past 85 years, we have offered programs focused on academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles – it is critical in helping youth achieve seemingly impossible goals.

Now more than ever, it’s the simple things that mean the world to kids – a trusted adult to say, “I believe in you,” three dependable meals a day, and a safe space to go after school. Your support makes a difference, in ways that we can feel and in ways that we can see.

$25 gives five members access to sports equipment, games and awards through the school year
$50 gives five members access to STEM kits and programs
$75 can provide five members homework help and access to technology
$100 gives a child a full year of life-changing programs
